We will stop by your hotel in Cusco a day before to be able to provide you with the information before your visit to Machu Picchu.
Note: Regarding the income from Machu Picchu, it will depend on the availability of the Ministry of Culture, inquiries must be made 1 month in advance, do not forget to check availability before booking your trip.
Day 1.- Starting at 10:00am one of our staff will pick you up at your accommodation to transfer you to the train station located in the town of Ollantaytambo, the road trip is approximately 2 hours, once we are at the train station you must have your passport and your train ticket on hand.
Once we have arrived at the town of Machu Picchu or as it is well known as Aguas Calientes, one of our staff will be waiting for you at the station to be able to transfer you to your accommodation, and to give you precise information and the necessary details for your stay.
At night, our guide will be coming to your hotel to provide you with detailed information for the Machu Picchu tour.
Make sure and recharge your batteries the night before, as the next day you will have a day full of unforgettable experiences.

Additional Tips
- Book in advance: wAlthough it does not require special permits like the Inca Trail, entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and trains tend to sell out quickly, especially in high season (May to September).
- Travel light: Carry only the essentials: passport, insect repellent, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle and a camera. Large backpacks are not allowed in Machu Picchu.
- Consider off-peak hours: If possible, choose entrance for early morning or after noon, when there are fewer visitors. This will allow you to enjoy the site at your leisure.
- Respect the rules of the site: Do not touch the structures or leave the marked paths. Machu Picchu is a World Heritage Site and should be preserved for future generations.
